The first step in naturopathic nutrition is to detoxify the body with a change of diet, herbs and supplements. This involves eating for your body type and eating fresh, seasonal and local foods as much as possible. From this point, the body can rebuild and achieve its own healthy balance. This treatment is different - and much more effective - than following 'one size fits all' diets.
